Texas Biomedical Forum
Since its founding in 1970, the Texas Biomedical Forum has been focused on supporting San Antonio’s Texas Biomedical Research Institute through community relations, volunteer services and fundraising. A membership based organization comprised of women over the age of 21, the Forum hosts education and social events each year to raise money to fund pilot studies for scientists.

upcoming events
Forum Special Events are held throughout the year and all Forum members are welcome and encouraged to attend. Previous events include, Gala theme reveals and fashion shows, Past President and Gala Chair luncheons, shopping events, as well as other community related activities. Events are held at The Argyle, at members’ homes or at local businesses who support the Texas Biomedical Forum.
grants
Each year, the Texas Biomedical Forum presents Texas Biomedical Research Institute with a sizable check from our combined fundraising efforts. These funds are then distributed to select scientists as Pilot Study Grants in support of their research needs. The Forum sponsors pilot projects that help scientists prove concepts that can lead to subsequent and often significant federal funding of research.
